Diwaker Singh is a free lance photographer who travels the world taking photographs for pleasure ........
My father was a self-taught artist. On his free days, he would sit by his small easel, painting the things that mattered to him most - the landscape, the natural breeze amongst the flowers, his family and friends and our pets. When asked what got him to practise this delightful hobby, he would answer how the brush in his hand and the canvas in front of his eyes gave him a magical energy to recreate those experiences that touched his heart the most.
I, too, over the years, have always desired to share my visual experiences through the means I love the most - photography.
The jungles and wild areas of the world attract me the most, as they hold encounters of the most direct kind in environments still largely untouched by us. There is a core relationship between the lens and the object, while my heart beats up adrenaline and the clicking of the button is all that breaks the silence. The birds and the few odd humans that inhabit this space all make for compelling subjects as the light dances through the trees and the shadows play truant. This is the playing field of all of Nature's elements in their starkest beauty.
But almost everywhere I travel, either accidentally or on purpose, I love to capture those visual moments that I really never ever want to lose from my memory, that i never want to forget. These images make up the very being of my experiences and now that i have had the luck to reach many parts of the world, I am quite ready to share my labour of love through this website. I do not honestly possess any technical skills or pretend to be an expert in the field, but I do know that what has touched me has changed my perception of living. It has made me an appreciator of all that Nature has showered so lovingly and in such a variegated manner on us humans.
Through the pages of this website, I would like to share these precious instances with you...
